SCHOLARSHIPS AND ELIGIBILITY

Please read the criteria carefully before selecting which one you are applying for and please note you may apply for more than one if you are eligible to do so.

The deadline for scholarship applications is September 17, 2025 at 5:00pm.

Atuqtuarvik Corporation 20th Anniversary Scholarship (2 at $2,500 each)

  • Inuk under the Nunavut Agreement
  • Enrolled in any post-secondary institution
  • Can only receive this scholarship once

 Dennis Lyall Memorial Trades Scholarship ($5,000)

  • Inuk under the Nunavut Agreement
  • Enrolled in a trades or technology post-secondary program
  • Can only receive this scholarship once

 John Hickes Business Scholarship ($5,000)

  • Inuk under the Nunavut Agreement
  • Enrolled in a business program or related to Inuit advancement
  • Can only receive this scholarship once

Nunavut Sivuniksavut Alumni Scholarship (2 at $2,500 each)

  • Graduate of NS Training Program
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution
  • Can only receive this scholarship once

ESSAY

Submit a 500-word essay explaining:

1. Why you are pursuing your current choice of studies;

2. What career path you hope to pursue after your studies; and

3. How Nunavut/Nunavummiut will benefit from your field of study.
