The scope of ‘partnering’ goes beyond strategic partnerships into the broader area of community relations. Atuqtuarvik Corporation understands that businesses truly realize their potential when they create relationships with the communities and people they are here to serve. While contributing to the economic system in Nunavut is important, companies like ours must also own the responsibility to contribute to communities we are here to serve. To this end, Atuqtuarvik Corporation provides ongoing sponsorship to community events and organizations while providing donations by request and five annual scholarships to Nunavut Inuit in full time studies. We have also developed a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Plan that outlines our support for the advancement of cultural, social and educational initiatives in Nunavut. Our plan considers the social and environmental consequences that our business activities have on our clients, employees, shareholders, communities and the ecology.
