Be a CREDIT OFFICER
At Atuqtuarvik Corporation, we believe in the vital role that Inuit entrepreneurs and businesses play in building healthy communities and a sustainable Nunavut economy. As the Credit Officer, you will work with current and potential clients who are starting, acquiring or expanding a business. You will evaluate applications, give feedback on business plans, and provide advice using our due diligence process. Working in the Credit Department, you will be responsible for the delivery, administration, and monitoring of the account portfolio. The Credit Officer also ensures compliance with policies and operational procedures. They report to the Chief Investment Officer.
To perform the responsibilities of the Credit Officer, the successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes.

- Be a Team player who works in collaboration with colleagues.
- Have effective interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Have strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Have the initiative to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
- Be organized and accurate.
- Be able to deliver effective presentation skills.
- Be competent in using Office 365 to develop word documents and spreadsheets.
The successful candidate must also be able to travel to Nunavut communities to attend meetings, participate in trade shows and meet clients, and adhere to corporate confidentiality and client privacy.
Any experience you have in lending and financial analysis is an asset.
